Use the correct finished size
Build the artwork at the intended A6, A5, A4, DL or custom finished size. Do not resize a completed design at the last minute without checking text, images and bleed.
Add bleed and keep important content safe
Background colours and images should extend beyond the trim edge into the bleed area. Keep important text, logos and QR codes safely inside the finished edge so trimming variation does not affect them.
Use suitable images and colour settings
Use high-resolution images at final print size and prepare colour with print output in mind. Very low-resolution screenshots or web images can look soft when printed. Check dark areas and small text carefully.
Export and check the final PDF
Open the exported PDF and inspect every page before sending. Confirm spelling, phone numbers, QR codes, page order and printed sides. For urgent work, send only the final approved version so production does not start from an outdated file.
